After nearly 10 years in the hospitality business, as a chef, a waitress and a hostess, I decided it was time for a change and shifted my life at 360°.
I started travelling and picked up a healthier, more conscious lifestyle. No more pushing myself, exhausting my body or stressing out my mind!
I got introduced to yoga by a friend in 2014. Learning by myself from home at first, I then started to attend drop-in classes here and there.
Casually teaching yoga, meditation and pranāyama to the people I met during my last years on the road made me realise how much I loved sharing this passion.
Yoga helped me reconnect with my body and mind and I wanted to help others on this path.
I practised Hatha, Ashtanga and Restorative for a while but somehow it didn’t completely fulfil me. So when I learned about a more gentle meditative type of yoga, I was hooked!
I finally decided to enrol for the 500h traditional tantra yoga teacher training at Shri Kali Ashram in Koh Phangan, Thailand.
From December 2018 to February 2019, I learned Kaula yoga under the teaching of Bhagavan Shri Shanmukha Anantha Natha.
Throughout the months there, I learned to let go of the unnecessary things keeping me away from my True Self. I learned to drop all idea of competition to simply enjoy life. I learned how to really rest and relax.
I rediscovered the fun and joys of studying because I wanted to, not because I was pushed by myself or someone else.
I accepted that it was okay to be vulnerable and reach out to others.
Along the way, I also learned to teach yoga!
I am now
Have a blissful day
